When I drunk dialed life
Without expecting a response,
It knocked three times on the front door
I looked it into the eye through the peephole,
And it stood smiling through the gaps of its teeth,
The corner of its eyes moist with yesterday’s lost and found,
Life is tired of searching what it was searching for
And I stood still, half drunk on its lost pursuit,
Holding the gaze through the peephole,
Lest the spell breaks…
